Privacy Policy for Learnie

This privacy policy describes how Learnie ("the app," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. This is used to create your Learnie profile and let you sign back in on other devices.

Gameplay data. We store your progress across riddles and brain games (Grid Rush, Link It, Logic Grid, Royal Logic, Memory Match, Pattern Master, Number Ninja, Word Twist and others): XP, level, streaks, hints used, saved/favorited riddles, mistake-review history, skill scores, and unlocked achievements. This is tied to your account so your progress is saved across sessions and devices.

Voice input. If you use the microphone button to speak an answer instead of typing it, audio is processed on-device by Android's built-in speech recognition. We do not record, store, or transmit your voice audio to our own servers.

Push notification token. If you allow notifications, we store a device token used to send you daily riddle reminders (e.g. "your streak is waiting"). You can disable this at any time in the app's Settings.

Diagnostic and usage data. We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (e.g. which screens are used, how often riddles are solved) to help us fix bugs and improve the app. This data is not linked to your name or email.

Advertising data. Learnie shows ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect an advertising identifier and other data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. This includes: banner ads shown in a fixed slot on some screens; interstitial (full-screen) ads shown automatically at natural breaks, such as after completing a few riddles; and optional, user-initiated rewarded video ads (e.g. "watch an ad for a bonus streak freeze or hint") that only play when you choose to tap a "watch an ad" button.

To diagnose crashes and improve app stability and features
To serve banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads

We do not sell your personal information.

Learnie uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

Data Retention and Deletion

Your gameplay data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete my account. This permanently removes your profile, progress, streaks, badges, and saved/solved riddle history, and cannot be undone. If you're unable to use the in-app option, you can also contact us at ashish060792@gmail.com and we'll delete it for you.

Children's Privacy

Learnie is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
